exhaust question

i am wondering what kind of exhaust i should get that is fairly quiet, almost stock quiet, but still low in price and weight. its for my daily driver. i have dual apexi N1's that i want on the t11 i am getting. also i will take stock mufflers if anyone has extras, but i heard they are pretty heavy. any insight will help. thanks.

Seems that price and quietness are inversely proportional. Cheap is loud as hell (corksport) and expensive is quieter (racing beat). So I think you should be prepared to spend a fair penny or make a compromise. Stock is going to be nice and quiet but isn't going to flow nearly as well.

what are your thoughts on RB exhaust. i like a deep growl, not that brap brap jet ski sound. i like the sound of my N1's but i just need it less loud.

what do you think?
I regret to say i have never heard it in person, but from what i see online I like it a lot.

For another deep growl, I really like the Apexi GT spec.

that apexi exhaust is alright just too loud. and i dont like the sound when it idles. i have dual apexi's and mine sounds alot "smoother" yet still "growls" like that. does anyone have a video of RB exhaust on a car that is driving by the camera instead of setting it right behind the car. im trying to get an idea of how loud this exhaust is going to be.

That video with the RB exhaust didn't pick up the deep notes well at all. Here are some better ones:

im pretty much sold on the RB exhaust. i just hope its not attention gragging loud like what i have now. i will post a vid of mine as soon as i can find my camera cable so you can see what im dealing with. the RB exhaust does have a really good sounding note to it. also whats the difference between the N/A exhaust and the T11 exhaust from racing beat? the T11 one is cheaper on this website: http://www.rx7store.net/product_p/rbexhaustturbo.htm

heres what i got on it now. so loud when its under load that you can barely talk in the car. sounds really good when i step on it on the road though.

The TII mufflers are 2.5" inside, while the NA uses 2". If you use the larger ones on an NA, it will be louder.

The RB mufflers sound even better under load too. You can control the noise fairly well with low throttle, but it'll still be loud if you're pushing it hard.
