boosting a 1987 n/a

how much boost does stock n/a ecu handle?
what's different?
and how would i get more fuel?
i'm planning on having relatively small turbo
and how difficult is it to swap an n/a ecu, for a turbo ecu?
one last thing, is there a difference in the clutch and transmission?

yeah trans and drive shaft and the rear diff are different from the NA to the TII

the NA rotors are high compression so the number isnt that high but I have heard about 300whp NA-turbo rx7

Then you shouldn't be boosting your engine.

Take some Ritalin and start reading. You're going to blow your motor unless you read up on all the little details.

N/A setup only has a 1 bar map sensor(atmospheric) and the N/A ecu only has maps for atmospheric. When you start hitting positive pressure it should throw a code. If you are boosting a N/A install a higher volume fuel pump and injectors then get a stand alone. Thats your best bet for keeping the engine alive for any amount of time.

How many miles are on this engine you are boosting? What are the compression numbers like?

If you don't have time to read one of the most thorough and inclusive how-to guides on modifying your N/A to Turbo then there isn't much we can do for you here.
