Exhaust leak on Turbo Wastegate. How to fix??

As most of you may know, I recently bought a beautiful S5 turbo with an upgraded compressor/comp housing.

The whole setup works great except for one problem. I noticed when i first got the turbo that the wastegate rod which goes from the lever to inside of the manifold is quite loose. I coule wiggle the whole wastegate with my fingers, there is quite a lot of play but not enough to cause damage. It does however cause an annoying exhaust leak and makes my car sound like a piece of crap.

Is there any way I can reman the wastegate internals so that the rod is tighter? Damn exhaust leak got me goin nuts!

has anyone had an S5 wastegate apart and successfully put it back together? Seems like I may have to get into some welding or riviting for this excercise.

Also if anyone has a good S5 wastegate (just the turbine housing) then I may consider buying it.
