I just purchased a 86 gxl with multiple exhaust leaks. I have about 500 dollars to spend on exhaust, and knowing that there are many choices i was wondering what would be best horsepower wise for my budget. Any suggestions help.

 

Well if you are on a budget you can always find a local shop to build you a custom exhaust.......... It won't be as nice as Racing Beat or anything, but I got my full exhaust from the motor to the bumper for $350. Racing Beat header (used) to custome piping to 2 aftermarket mufflers. Sounds great, car breathes better, and no more leaks! Not sure what your local laws are, but our cars love an open exhaust!
