you again? JK! If you go full 3 inch exhaust you should expect the boost rise from the stock 6 lbs to approx 10. If that's your only upgrade you should be okay. Get an air/fuel monitor and a boost guage. Power should also jump from the stock 182 to 220-240 hp. Again call a-spec. take the car there and they'll figure out the 6700 rpm thing problem probably for free. If you need anything else email me at toddrx7@yahoo.com I live in mississauga by the way.

IT all depends on the exhaust. If you are talking about a catback exhaust, and intake you will prob. be OK. Get a FCD(fuel cut defenser) and spend a 100 bucks and get a Walbro fuel pump. It will save you the money of blown motor.

If you go with a turbo back exhaust, you will have to take more percaution.

Ok, well I'm having a dp and mp installed this weekend. Is it necessary to buy a better fuel pump now? I thought it should still be okay with the stock fuel system as long as I don't boost too much.

AE Turbo

The way that I look at it is...
Don't increase your fuel system, and take the risk of a blown motor, or...
Spend 100 something for a fuel pump and be better off.

I have a fuel pump and S-AFC, just to be safe

You have a FCD right?

Whats the fun of not boosting much?
