Arrow exhaust install: maybe leaked?

I bought a rcing beat header and pre-silencer off ebay and installed them today, it was a crap load of work, didnt match up..... welding..... bloody knuckles..... permanent black fingernails..... anyway, you get the picture. but now that i drive it, its is super loud, like a beast. i am running stock cat-back and mufflers. Its like a beast! but anyway, after i raced a souped up accord and actually pulled ahead of him and then i drove home, i thought i was smeling carbon monoxide in the cabin... i could just be freaked out, but i am not sure due to using he stock gaskets and my welding job and such. anyone come across same dilemma? soud i put in new gaskets? how can i tell if there is a leak? i dont want to be driving down the road and pass out due to CO buildup. Thanks.

Considering your stock gaskets are probably 100 000m old (give or take) Id buy new ones. And recheck your welds...

I would get new gaskets. I saw my stockers and the one from the stock manifold to the block was ripped in the middle.

Listen to where the leak is coming from (assuming there's a leak) when you stand beside the car, can you hear exhaust close to the frong?

If so, it's probably leaking from the flange. I am having the same problem. Getting it fixed this week... I can smell exhaust in the car at the moment.

Otherwise... might be some cracked piping. My bet would be on the leak at the flange though.
