Exhaust help!!

ok... I have a racing beat header... is the road race true dual exhaust... I need options for what you think would be good mufflers to run with the system and if I should get a custom exhaust from header back to mufflers just for money savings or if I should buy the pre-made shtuff.

I have a 91 NA with strret port and will be doing a CAI with hood scoop ram air style , so like I said gimme some muffler options...

Thanks

I had a full dual on my prior NA.
No emmissions testing in FL so I had 2 cheap silencers in place of the cats.
You can make a bit more peak power from a collected header, but the length is tricky.
A full dual is less fussy about tune, and you get a nice stereo growl at the low end.
Your local muffler shop can weld you up, but you will want assembly flanges at the header & mufflers.

I just got my cats removed and replaced with straight piping at my muffler shop. I'm running cheap Pacesetter mufflers and I still have the stock mani. It sounds perfect if you ask me. I'm getting an RB header soon though.

Racing beat makes universal mufflers, they don't list them on there website though, I had purchased 2 of them, but ended up scrapping the car that I was going to put them on. They where 85 a piece, and made of stainless with stainless packing just like all the rest of there mufflers.
