Cool Racing beat holley, 12A distributor,MSD

I need to know if I can run 1 MSD 6A ignition or do I need 2 ???. Also whould I wire it up the same as a standard electronic system???

I run one with the leading, leave the trailing stock.


I find its accually ALOT better to use the FC leading coil and stock J-109 ignitor. It worked MUCH BETTER than the MSD setup. I tried using the MSD megnetic pick-ups AND the White wire trick, using the stock J-109 ignitor.


I think the MSD would work best with a direct fire application, bypassing the dizzy. After all, the MSD just acts as a amplifier.

Theres a guy here that runs 1 MSD for each system, 1 for leading, 1 for trailing. He was having some problems with the trailing last I heard.
