Ex-Speedmachine 'Silver Bullet' gets a new life in Canada!
Hey everyone,
I'm sure most of you have forgotten about the Silver Bullet that Speedmachine had for sale on ebay a while back right?
Well it made its way to Canada where it has undergone some surgury, a new heart, new skin and a new fuel cell.
Here is what I did:
Pulled out the old motor that never did have a proper dyno run and never had real HP numbers....only an estimated 400 somethin....
So I built a completely new Cosmo RE motor for it. We decided on half bridging it to get some real HP out of it.
In between customers projects this motor took a long time to get together.

Then we gave the car a new coat of paint, all black!

Notice in the pic of the rear of the car we put a real fuel cell (ATL) in a proper location. The old plastic tank was mounted up inside the car just under the rear hatch....not sure why.
Other than that, the car is still pretty much the way we got it from Speedmachine. But before we actually take it racing the stock suspention bushings are going to have to be replaced with a full urethane kit and some swaybars added to make it handle the way it should.
We are also still in the process of breaking the motor in and fine tuning it, so stay tuned for actual dyno numbers

Now all you need is a lip, a hood and maybe some better headlights. The way the car looks now the headlights just look out of place to me. Maybe with the hood on and a nice lip it will look better. Even better if you smoke the lenses and get some nice HIDs too.
What turbo are you running?

Juiceh - The turbo is a T04R BB, the exhaust side is a T4 divded P-trim .96 A/R. Prett small....I know. Going bigger soon, we just want to get it out on the track and get some seat time in it right now.
Valkyrie - hahaha no way it was 700hp. and yes the rims we still have, only for show though. We have a set of race rims and tires for it.

24"x18"x10" The rear of the car was pretty much completely cut out so it fit good for us. On a stock FC, there would need to be alot of modifications done to make a cell like that fit right.
As long as your fuel cell doesn't stick below the rear diff it should be alright. Just dont go rallying with it

This car is lowered alot and it has 6" of ground clearance.

you guys are doing a great job getting that thing back into shape. i agree, it could use a front lip/sides, to make it look less "prelude-y", but other then that looks and sounds good!! go Canada!
