Are everyone else's wipers this slow?

I've re-greased the motor, replaced the linkage arm, greased the linkage so it's nice and smooth, and still my wipers are really slow. See the following:

First is on the mist setting, then on high. The windshield is also wet in this example.

I don't mind buying a rebuilt wiper motor, but if it's going to be the same speed as this then I won't bother and instead I'll look into a more modern motor that I can retrofit.

Thanks

Definitely not that slow on my s4. Could also may be your wiper relay? Check the threads?

The wiper relays in my switch are already replaced with new. I'll have to check and see if there are other relays, though I thought they were all in the switch.

Lithium dry grease, pop off the cowl, then clean and grease the crap out of the wiper linkage. That's what did it for me...after wasting money on a new motor and still having slow wipers.

I already did that actually. Tried lithium grease first, then more recently tried moly grease. No difference.

At least I know this isn't normal so I don't mind buying a rebuilt motor. I was worried that I would buy a new motor and it would be exactly the same speed.

Both. I added a new ground too, no difference.

I'm thinking a new motor is in order at this point, it's probably just tired.

I can try cleaning the brush surface, haven't inspected them actually. I don't have a rebuild kit and there's no part number on my wiper motor to look one up.
