Engine wiring harness connector (to ECU with pic)

I am not sure where this white connector attaches to ?
It comes from the engine harness that goes to the ECU and is on the inside of the car right below the glovebox and next to the blower motor.
Basically a white female 4 prong connector.

anybody who has been under there or has swapped engines with this harness recently can hopefully remember. I double checked and didn't find a male 4 prong connector, and I'm sure there has to be one. The engine and car is working beautifully, but this will continue bothering me because I'm sure it has to do something.

and sorry for the bad pics, it's dark out.

Looks like the connector to the cruise control. The connector on the unit is on the bottom and not easy to see unless your looking for it.

You have to give us the color of the wires. As in a black wire with a yellow stripe, or a green wire with a black stripe or a brown wire with a black stripe. Get the idea??

sure the 4 wires are:
-solid black,
-black with white stripe
-brown with white stripe
-green with yellow stripe

again this connector is on the inside of the car. I'm mentioning this because there is an female 4 prong connector on the "underhood"(other side of the firewall), but all it's wires are green with stripes.

IF you had a series four car I'd say that that plug goes to the ATP sensor (atmospheric pressure sensor) because the colors match the series four schematic to a tee and the ATP is located in the crew compartment...passengers side....above the legs of the passenger.

But darn, the series five has no ATP. Hey, I looked at a 91fsm. You series five guys got ROBBED!

So here's what happen.........when the made series five harnesses, they left that plug in the harness design. Sometimes it's cheaper to do nothing than to make a new harness board. You see that in aiplane configurations all the time A bracket here, a clamp there, a hole here and there that's not used on the latest version.

So...stow it away carefully. Zip Tie it to something. Make sure that Brown/White wire in the plug NEVER touches something it should not, like a ground. If it does...KABLOOOIE....ECU made useless in a heartbeat.

If you look around you'll see numerous plugs that are not used. Numerous.

So the question is WHY DOES THE SERIES FIVE NOT HAVE A ATP?????? Youse waz robbed!

Great, thanks a bunch HAILERS. That makes lots of sense, I kept scratching my head, because I was almost positive it was plugged.

No atmospheric pressure sensor, oh well
Thanks for the info, I appreciate it.
