Engine Rebuilt Questions :)

2 days ago, I blew my motor, and of course I am going to get it rebuild asap. While that's happening, I might as well put in something and port the engine while I am at it. Here is my goal... I am looking for 350 to the wheel hp. I am pretty sure my rotors are screwed =\ so should I go with S4 or S5??? i have heard that S4 is safer because of the lower compression, but with S5 rotors, i will be able to push alot more boost. i need inputs on that question. also, should i go with 3mm or 2mm seals?? is it possible to push 350 to the wheel hp with stock turbo??? any other suggestions about what i should do while my engine is off?? thanks for reading and replying!

S4 = lower compression which means they should take more boost all else being equal. a stock turbo won't flow that much air in its efficiency range, try a 60-1 or a hybrid of some sort.

if you're staying with the stock turbo, go s5 rotors. Higher compression = more power per PSI of boost. They're lighter too, which means higher revs and more efficiency. If you want to run a ton of boost and are goign with a giant turbo, s4 rotors are lower compression and may be the way to go for you.

No, S4 rotors will be able to push more boost than the S5 because of the lower compression. You really don't needa boost so high to make 350rwhp. Like mentioned, a 60-1 should be able to take you there while being right smack in the middle of it's efficiency range.

Stick with 2mm apex seals.
