Engine rebuild (finally)
Well SonicRat was nice enough to come down to help me with my rebuild (aka do everything
) He did some great port work with none of the right tools. After searching and driving and searching and driving and a little more driving the only thing we could come up with bit wise was some stones and sand paper rolls. If I wouldn't had bought the templates from racingbeat and had them overnighted ($115 bucks) I would have given up and just started the rebuild however after getting the stones and sand paper rolls he went to town. Here are a few pics of the ports, They look 100xS better in person as my camera was one of those 88 dollar target specials.

Well after that part was finnished we continued with the rebuild. Early on we knew we where doomed not to finnish it due to my dumbass over stretching one of the water seals
Anyways everything went together smoothly after that and here are some pics of it mostly completed. More pics to come when finnished.

thanks funkspectrum! I think SonicRat did a damn good job on those ports. I can't wait to see how they flow
Hopefully with one more coolant seal and asking a bunch of questions on the site I should have the rebuild done soon and in the car running.

Depends on when, my fiance's got family there and one of her rotations might be over that way. (Though, it does seem like the next rotation will be in Louisiana, who knows!)
