I briefly considered doing the same thing with a generic Painless Wiring harness. But since I still have all the stock climate controls, cluster, lights, etc. it would require a huge amount of effort. Also, I went over all the car's wiring when I bought it, so it has been trouble free.

However, if yours is siginficantly stripped to the point where most of the stock wiring sits idle, then it might be worth it. However, it is a huge undertaking, and there isn't really any gain unless you are already having wiring problems.

i don't have wiring probelms that i know off, its just that i got some many wires that just go no where especially under the aluminum dash. I was thinking of a painless kit also.
