Talking Engine pics

FD alternator, magnecor wires, K&N style filter
Nothing fancy, just wanted to share now that I finally had time to clean my engine bay. Air filter was support by a bungee cord wrapped around the strut tower bar when I bought the car... Lame... Spent $2 at the local hardware store to fix it with a cabinet brace. Also purchased and threw on a set of S5 tails with new bulbs/wires since the S4's were filled with rust and not working. Last item to get put on for the summer - the new exhaust system! Still waiting for magnaflow to ship a 2.5" in/out Y-pipe to me, then it'll be off to the welder with some mandrel bent sections of 2.5" piping, new cat (also magnaflow), presilencers (dynomax bullets), and mufflers (N1 style cheapo crap from local shop, acquired for $10 ea).

Also, if anyone knows a good place to purchase wheel spacers (I was thinking 15mm wide, take a look at the pic, tell me how many mm you think would make it fit flush to the fenders) for 4x114.3mm please let me know. I've seen ones for 5x114.3 that cost $20 a pair, and the only ones I've seen for 4x114.3 cost $120 a pair. For an aesthetic mod, I'd like to keep cost down.

Enough talk, here's the pics -

Its a base model Rx7, just happens to have a lot of options on it (AC, PS, Sunroof, Rear wiper, CC, hatch release lever, probably more I can't remember).

87silverNA: Thanks for the eye candy, it looks real nice. What all do you have to cover up when cleaning your engine bay anyway? I always hear alternator, but don't know what else needs to be covered before any cleaner/water is applied

thanks again........always love pics
