thanks again........always love pics
I took it to a detail shop and had it steam cleaned for $25 (got a free exterior wash and interior vacuum with that too!), not sure what they cover up. Then I went around the metal parts with some foamy engine cleaner and an old toothbrush when I got back home. I should've bought some plastic/rubber conditioner to clean the stains off my battery case and fan shroud, but I'll do that this weekend.

EvilRotor...

Your car is just SICK man. My god that is the most beautiful engine bay I've seen yet. I can only hope to get mine that clean...maybe when I have to have the engine rebuilt I can REALLY clean it while its out.

Thanks guys. I just try to keep it clean. To me, a clean engine bay just says 'pride of ownership'.

The strut bar is a CP bar. I has been slightly modified for better fitment and painted the same red as the car. It works pretty well. But be warned... If buying one... It is not a direct drop in. Some items like the MAP sensor and fuse box may have to be moved and I had to trim the fan blades for clearance.

I'd guess to reduce bends in the piping as much as possible. Otherwise there would be a sharp 90 degree bend right after the turbo.

That's a damn good looking bay though. How much power you making? and MPG?
