Like I had posted before I got my Reman installed and running and I noticed some weird noises. I do not remember them from my old engine. I replaced ALL gaskets, and I ported the wastegate...

There are a few rattle noises, hums, pinging and other weird sounds that I do not remeber before... Hopefully you guys can help me diagnosis the problems (or tell me that everything is fine, and I am just loosing my mind). You might need to turn the volume up to hear it... its in the background...

The Sonic HSR is just a clip of my exhaust, its straight all the way back with 2.5 RB dp and MP to the FEED Sonic HSR catback...

oh i just noticed you had audio clips...sounds pretty normal to me.

 

Really? Damn its only been since October that my engine blew... it I guess I thought it just can alot quite (other than the exhaust).... I guess I might just be smoking crack or just TOO parnoid!

I am just finishing up the coolant issues, and I will see how it sounds now I also retorqued a few bolts/nuts and secured some vacuum lines to be on the safe side... So I will try to post some new ones soon...

The ping sort of sounds alittle more like a rattle maybe, like there might be something loose or something like that....

 

did you replace the engine mounts?

 

The rattle could be the TMIC... One of the reivets was loose on top and it bugged the hell outta me!

 

Hmmm I will have to sheck that, yeah I got new engine mounts, I inspected them when I first heard the rattles and I noticed the one was not seated right. So i fixed that now... Have to check the IC...
