HI engine management question

So Im used to the haltech but now Im going to stock engine and car, but want to get a piggyback to control the extra fuel for 850-1200cc injectors. What is the best system for this. Possibly keeping the a/c and other idle control so just looking for a piggyback system.

You could do an Rtek inconjunction with an additional injector controller( HKS).

Why did you get rid of the haltech/BP engine setup?

The engine blew after a rotary meet, and I sold the haltech to get the extra 500 for a stock tii to grab stuff out of to put in mine.

So why would I need an extra injector controller with the rtek? Does it not control fuel or just a certain amount?

You can only do 720cc x4 with it. Not enough fuel for a T67...

Presets are only 720/720 at maximum on the stage 2 Rteks, but fuel can be adjusted up/down by as much as 37%. 850/1000 is doable on it, if we're talking an S4 ECU (not available for S5 TIIs). Of course, this can be a little more expensive route than a stock ECU (or Rtek stage 1) + an HKS controller or an SAFC.

I didn't know that, thats not bad for $500...

Hks AIC is generally in the $200 range, however you can't control timing if you run stock ecu...

it seems they only have harnesses for the rx8 though, unless the regular harness can work.
