engine idle drops when lites are on

Question engine idle drops when lites are on

idle drops to about 4oo 500rpms when lites are turned on , ive check all other switches on the cab to turn on , and thats the only one it drops on, any thoughts on where to look for the short or draw. thanks

Either your BAC is working too much and your physical idle is set too low, or your BAC isn't working at all.

No, you should start your car, let it warm up and idle, with no load you should go disconnect your BAC and see what happens to your idle. If it stays up around 750ish, then clean/replace/check the BAC and wiring. If it drops considerably, raise the idle manually using the screw ontop the TB or the idle stop to get it higher, then plug the BAC back in and try.

i also notice it when i hit the breaks the idle drops, does have something to do with the bac also.

Mine dropped a little when I have an electrical draw on the system, but up until now, I have ignored it. By the way, RX7FromCal, I like the doors on your vert. I was considering doing the same to mine, but did not know if it could be done with verts. Now that I know, I am going to be planning for it.
