Which engine harness for a 1990 GXL
Which engine harness for a 1990 GXL
Hello, disregarding my earlier posts hahaha I have a technical question
It seems I will be needing a new engine wiring harness. The car is a 1990 GXL.
It looks like new harnesses can be bought for around a grand. However, I think I can find a used one for much cheaper. But I need to know which model years and trims would work.
So, what year/trim engine harness work for a 1990 GX-L? Thank you all.

in the USA there are three for 1989-1991
N350-18-05ZD is non turbo coupe, and non airbag convertible
N387-18-05ZC is the 1990-1991 air bag convertible. i think it would still work, it just has the air bag wires added
N370-18-05ZD is the 1989-1991 turbo. it is basically the same as the NA, except is exchanges the VDI and 6PI solenoids for a knock sensor and boost control solenoid
the JDM harness will also work, although you'd need to add the pig tail for the wipers and cruise control, the JDM harness sits on the engine the same, but then goes to the other side of the car
the harnii have a white tag on them with the part prefix, N350 or N370 or whatever so that helps to ID them
