I have an 88 GXL and for some reason or another we cut the wires for the wiring harness not knowing that you could pull it through the fire wall when we were removing the engine.
Anyways, I could probably splice them back together but I found a 2nd gen GX in the junk yard today (everything was stripped except for under the hood!
) So I was thinking that I could take the wiring harness outa that car and use it in mine. Would that work out okay or do they have different harness' and wires and such?
Thanks

GX? is that a model?
as long as it is an 86-88 non turbo, then the harness is the same.
I think that there are like 6ish or so connections from the ECU and you can pull em through the firewall. It should work, no problem.
