Engine going in

The RX-7 now houses a newly rebuilt 13B, bone stock.. Work progresses, gotta get a radiator and start hooking the electrical up.

OMG that has got to be THE CLEANEST engine bay i've EVER seen. Congrats on getting it to that condition and good luck with your engine project!! Can't wait to see how it looks with the electrical and the cooling system in there.

Peace,
AJ ^_^

Not allowed to do much, mostly suspension modifications. It'll get Koni DA shocks with Eibach springs on Mazdacomp coil overs. Not sure yet on the swaybar choice. Header, to a single exit exhaust, haven't decided on a muffler yet. Mazdacomp has a fairly effective competetion muffler, might try that.

No smog, ps, ac, or interior. No fan, working on getting a Griffin radiator for it. Keep it light, and if it doesn't make the car go fast, it doesn't go on the car. Expect ~180 HP with around 2650 lbs wet.

Sully,

Sure, I live off of Capitol and Pearl Ave, right between the auto dealers. Email me at pcabana@newsguy.com and we'll setup a time for you to drop by.

affinitee,

Actually, I got the engine from Mazda Recycling up in Sacramento. At the time, I wasn't too comfy with doing a rebuild myself. If I can find the time, I'll grab another block from a junked 89 and rebuild that myself as a spare.

It currently has an 86 trans, newly rebuilt. I dropped them in together.

fcturbo2,

Actually, that's a racer's special from Miracle Auto body. I'll hvae to run their decal package this season as well. It's really a Corvette yellow, but it's just as pretty

Are you happy with the paint? Were the pretty fair in their pricing?

Yeah, I was very happy with the paint. But keep in mind, this is going to be a race car. I expect dings, dents and scrapes, so I'm not picky. I certainly wouldn't accept this paint job if it were my pride and joy.

Then again, I only paid 250 for it, so who am I to complain
