i have an '87 gxl, white, with a brand new custom, 1500 paint job(the black plastic surrounding pop-up lights matches car, i have never seen this done, taililights are also white. colour is a GM white). turbo II hood (but no turbo) blue leather interior in mint condition, with some custom accents, new brakes (done last month), CD, it was made up to look like a 10th anniv by the previous owner, who i guess didn't know the rim difference (they still have the gxl ones just painted white). i believe it has 280000 (just from memory, i could be wrong, but not far off) new windshield, and some other minor things that i can't think of now. i was thinking around 55-5000 cdn with some room for negotiation. what do you guys think? it looks damn good. i had it inside last winter to work on it and such. it is going to need new suspension soon, and new syncros like now but i was quoted around 500 to get them fixed by a buddy so that may be fixed before sale. i hate to sell it but winter is coming and i need a daily driver for it and it is getting to be a bit too expensive to fix. i may not even sell it until next year, just wondering. thanks.

 

What exactly is the exchange rate for USD? With 280,000 miles I wouldn't pay more than say $1000 USD unless the engine was just rebuilt with papers to show for that. I paid $1700 for mine with 120,000 miles & a rebuilt engine & its an 88 GXL in pretty good condition & runs great.

 

Yep not more than $1000 USD... too many miles and needs a tranny
