Why did you paint the spark plug and the oil injector?

Would you want to be spraying paint into the spark plug holes? I doubt it. He was just filling the holes while he painted.

Looks nice. Atkins Rotary www.atkinsrotary.com sells lots of their rebuilt engines painted like that. I always see lots on ebay from them.

thanks for the compliments. Its just regular old 1200 degree paint. I left the oil injector in b/c I dont need it...I got it with the housings and I know my others are good. I had some other plugs in the other holes but those were only hand tightened in and the other ones are too tight to get out at home without a socket (which is at the garage)

I was going to do that revolution but my housings were a little pitted and stuff when I got done cleaning them...they appeared to be a PAIN to polish and clearcoat

I saw a motor at atkins that had a chrome plated front cover and housings. The cast irons were still painted black though.

Arpus....
that engine was polished by Eric Hayes (no relation to the Hayes of WA with bad rep)....He does all his polishings. He's a cool guy to know. You can see him at most of the car shows in Seattle and Tacoma.
