Engine Building questions

Ok i have a question for the expert engine builders. Can you use a set of s5 rotors with counter weight, eccentric shaft, and CAS gear in an s4 engine? Also can you use n/a rotors in an turbo engine.

Yes MMJB you can use n/a rotors in a turbo engine despite their low compression.

NA rotors ARE NOT LOW COMPRESSION, thier HIGHER COMPRESSION. thier almost a point difference and yes the rotors are interchangable but you will have to think about upgrading fuel system and knock prevention, because you will be running higher compression and thus more likelyhood of detonation and pinging

The eccentric shaft and CAS gears are identical between S4 and S5.
You would need both S5 rotors, the S5 front counterweight, and an S5 flywheel/aftermarket rear counterweight if using an aftermarket flywheel in order to put the higher compression rotors in an S4 engine.

You can also use n/a rotors in a turbo engine with great performance results, but proper tuning becomes even more of a factor than with standard turbo rotors.
