Pulling the engine is easy... Never did one before, but last monday I pulled 2 rotaries in 1 day and had the 2nd one half way installed

All you got to do is remove the air box, hose, and then pull the radiator and then unplug the wiring harness and pull it through the firewall.. Disconnect the driveshaft, then unbolt the engine mounts and the tranny cross member. Attatch to cherry picker and pull

If you really want some good step-by-step instruction, buy the video at www.atkinsrotary.com. They have two: one for pulling and reinstalling the engine and one for rebuilds. I have both and it gives you some really good time saving hints and headsup on common mistakes. Well worth the money imho.

I have the same problem, I'm half way done. My problem is with all the vacuum hoses. I had to unhook some of them in order to transfer all the parts from a bad engine to a good one. I could really use a high definition pic of the top of the engine, under the intercooler. This is the one pic that i did'nt get.
