If your plan is to pull the motor up and out of the tranny (and out of the engine bay). First, make sure you've got all the bolts/nuts undone. I know there is a slightly hidden one you have to get from underneath on the drivers side. It's like sunken in or something (not sure). If you've got it all disconnected, the tranny propped up from underneath and you can see the motor starting to slide out, off of the tranny/motor 'guide bolts'(?)... If you're stuck at this point, chances are the tranny/motor bolts are 'binding'. You'll probably need the help of a friend who's underneath the car adjusting the tranny up and down, and you adjusting the engine hoist up and down to kind ok wiggle the motor out of the tranny. If there's even just a slight bit of pressure pushing the tranny and motor at different angles, because there's so much weight, it makes sense that they would get 'binded' together.

Try adjusting the height of the engine and the ANGLE of the engine (if it was sitting naturally not supported by the tranny) to the same angle as the transmission...

If it's only binding that's the problem, make sure all the bolts are out though... there are seven total I believe. The one that holds the starter in counts too... heh.

Other than that, it's just a gently working it up an down shifting the weight of the engine around and just trying to get it to slide out... didn't have to force mine out that hard, but it sure as hell didn't just fall right out.
