i do these things slowly.. i only work like 18 hrs a week cuz of school, so i like to have a good amount of "$ padding"
when i strap on the bonez single, i also want to delete my y pipe, so ive got to get enuff $ to sacrafice to my local exhaust guru. i was thinking itd be badass to use 2 resonators with no tip.

I passed as very well/easily with the bonez hi-flow cat..
Just as you said tuning with the SAFC Leaning it out a bit might help but not too much as it will up other emissions if you lean it out too much... Just need that sweet spot.
And make sure to make that cat good and warm before you get on the dyno... if the guy is nice ask him to keep it on the higher rpm's (it has to stay within a certain amount... no higher then 3k a think but some guys will listen to you when you ask to keep it on the higher amount...
Or he let me drive it once he couldn't figure out where the distributer/coil to get the rpm reading off of was.
Hope that gives you some needed info.

k im ordering it tomorrow. but was that with the single or dual cat system?
ive gotta make the decision.
im tempted to go with the single component, and have it welded in.

as for RPM, the max here is 2500. 25mph will be about 2200rpm, 15mph will be about 1800rpm. cant really get around this without changing gear ratios or tire size. i think, for me, 15mph is like 2600rpm, so i was stuck having the car tested at 1800. the guy was nice and tried, but the machine wont let you test at your own rpm.

Well thats why I said you have to find the sweet spot. If you go over then you will yes raise NOx too high, but if you don't go high enough then your HC's will be too high... its that damned fine point our cars have fun getting to.
As long as the car seems to be running decnetly well with the new cat (and the rest of the emissions operational) you shouldn't have any problems....

yea, i'm more worried about my CO than HCs. my HCs didnt fail too too bad, but my CO made me a tad more uncomfortable. like i said, i dont know how much the NOx will rise by leaning it and i dont know how much i need to lean it to get the HCs and CO legal. i hope it works out for me. hell, for all i know the COs may drop faster than the HCs. guess i'll see soon!
an all out properly running rotary can pass very well. i've seen the sheet for an 87 that passed with extremely clean numbers. i dont have my ACV (no EGR on S5s) and my aux ports are gone and slightly ported (streetported engine).
