Elite Rotary Oil Pedistal
Hey guys,
Does anybody know what size the big ports are on the elite pedistal? This company has been a nightmare for customer service. Refuses to answer the phone and messaging them over fb is useless.
This is the only thing stopping me from firing up the new motor. Logic tells me it would be the same size as the factory fd oil line fitting, but it definitely looks bigger than m18x1.5.

I've been trying to get in contact with Elite for 3 weeks now. I'm completely over it. Took the plug included with the pedistal into my local specialty bolt store and they didn't have a clue. Way bigger than any metric they carry.
Measurements show that it's something like an m22x1.75 but that is completely illogical. Can't find anything in that size. Surely I'm not the first one to buy this... 🤷🏻♂️

Well FWIW, I measured a spare banjo bolt from my FC, and that one was M18x1.5. And I have a spare oil cooler hose for the FD that goes to the front cover, and a spare FD hard pipe that goes to the oil pedestal, and the holes for both of those banjo fittings measure correct for an M18 banjo bolt. Not familiar with the Elite pedestal, as I got a Banzai racing pedestal for my FD, and the threaded holes on that one fit my stock oil cooler line fittings perfectly.
Bottom line is if you accurately measured yours out as an M22x1.75, that's what it is, logical or not. BTW, what are you looking to do with that open port? Block it or connect it to an oil line? Since you're posting in the 2nd gen section, I assume that Elite pedestal is going on a 2nd gen 13B or 13BT motor, which already has the oil cooler banjo fitting on the rear iron rather than on the pedestal. Looks like the pedestal you purchased from Elite is designed for an FD 13B-REW application, not a 13B or 13BT.

I didn't know Banzai made a full pedistal replacement. Wishing I would've gone with them now. 😩
This is the 2nd one I've tried. First one was a pineapple racing sandwich plate and one of the npt ports points directly at the slave cylinder and filter hit the tb inlet.
When I say I've measured, I mean my fabricator. I'm currently working for us Forrest Service on a fire. Hopefully I'll get home sometime this week to actually measure it but was hoping to order the correct fittings and have them waiting for me.
I'm just looking to plug both the large ports. Running an oil pressure, oil temp, and turbo feed line.
Really disappointed in Elites customer service. Glad I didn't purchase their intake manifold.

They do for the FD 13B-REW motors, not sure if Banzai makes a version for the FC motors without the large oil cooler banjo port.
Once you can verify the hole/thread size, you should be able to find the right size bolt on McMaster-Carr or maybe Fastenal, along with a copper or aluminum crush washer of the same size to serve as a seal.

Vibrant doesn't make anything that size, summit doesn't sell anything that size, fastenal doesn't sell anything that size.
This is the only thing keeping the motor from running. I'm just so over this.....

Have you tried a straight AN / ORB fitting? There's a good chance it could be in that family since the pedestal seems to be designed for a custom install. The threads on a 10 AN fitting would be roughly 21mm (they are 3/4" standard). They also usually use an O-ring seal for the straight threaded fittings like your plug has.
EDIT: 10 AN also has 14 threads per inch, or about a 1.81mm thread pitch. Sounds promising...
