Electromotive tec3r?

Looking at a car with this standalone ecu in it. I can't find much, it seems like a quality standalone but discontinued support. I imagine it would be hard to find a tuner to tune this?

Does anyone have more info on this ecu?

It sounds like it would be good to retain if I can figure out how to do all the tuning myself or if a tuner can adapt and use wintec to try to tune the car.

Is this a deal breaker? The car itself is good but I'm really not looking to spend another $2k on a different standalone. So either I make this one work or its a different car

You will have a lot of trouble getting any help with it. I'd stay away unless it's a really good deal.

Yeah I think I will pass. It looks like unless you're a tuner and can tune it yourself, it's going to be hard getting support for it. I called 3 rotary shops yesterday and they only work with halltech and whatnot.

Thanks for the help

Ok if I were to pick this car up and wanted to change out the ECU, what's the best bang for buck most people use with the fc?

Mega squirt?
