electrical problem..help..
hey guys, i just recently got a 88 vert and the owner said everything was fine but i found out that the rear lights dont turn on with the headlights...causing me to be unable to drive at nights. i checked the bulbs and there fine, the brake lights light up when i hit the brakes so i think the fuse is good still, i was wondering if this could be a blown switch relay or something and if it is, is it costly to repair or can i do it myself, any input will be greatly appreciated, sucks to stop driving the rx7 when the sun goes down

Have you checked ALL your fuses? start by checking all the fuses, the panel is located by your left foot behind the pedal rest. The fuse labeled STOP is the one that controls the horn, break lights. Go to your manual for more assistance...

Probably the light switch (as mentioned above), but are you sure it is not all the parking lights, and not just the rear parking lights???

You will need to remove the gauge suround to access the back of the light switch, yes.
You may also need to replace the switch and the light harness if they are too badly burnt.
The white/green is the parking light 12V+ feed wire into the light switch

See Icemarks answer. Read Icemarks answer. See the jpg I attached. SEe the WG wire. The WG is the white/green wire.
Buy a meter. Cheap RadioShack will do. See if the white/green has voltage.
