Electric 6 ports are for cars that have a free flowing exhaust, not stock, that don't have any other way of opening the ports.
You don't gain any power from converting to electronic unless your current setup isn't working. Then you might gain 10-20 HP.
If you have working 6 ports just leave it alone.

Also if i were to replace the pulley's with lighter one's.. Im just looking to make my rx quick---you know, just right for the twisties!!
Oh, and did i forget to mention that i have a straight pipe exhuast set up, and boy is it loud~~!

Basically, to add noticable power to an NA you can get a new exhaust and a new intake w/ CAI. After that you can get a lightweight flywheel, but it not too major and should only be done if you are already replacing the clutch due to the PITA factor. After that, you can port it, but that involves rebuilding the engine at the same time.
First, make sure the aux ports are working. If so, leave them alone. If not, you might could look into the electric activation, or you could just fix them to work like stock.
As for power, just forget about more power for now. Save your money and get a good quality rebuild with a street port. You should also get a good suspention. I think that a good quality suspention will allow you to have a lot more fun on the twisties than more power.

If you want an N/A to make any kind of extra power. Consider swapping in an S5 intake manifold, make sure your ports are working, and consider getting the engine ported.
Or save a grand or two and swap in a turbo motor.
You drive a GXL. They are fat pigs. Luxury edition with lots of added weight.
Have A/C? if you are only concerned about being quick, remove that, and remove the P/S. Might be able to get 100 - 150 LBS off everything. Remove your power windows and go for some manual windows. Remove sunroof. Get AAA and remove your spare tire.
N/A's don't make a lot of power. If you want to be "quick" in an N/A. Be light.
Otherwise, it's turbo time.

Oh crap, I forgot about the s5 intake manifold. It takes a good bit of time and patience, espeically if you keep the s4 LIM. There is a good writeup somewhere around here.
I still say your time and money is best spent on suspention. My car isn't super quicj by any means, but I have a nice suspention and its damn fun on the twisties.
