EGR on T2

Hmm... upon some searching, i found that my issue could also be caused by the EGR. Where is it on an s5 T2? Maybe I'm blaming the ACV unneccesairly

The S5 T2 doesn't have a EGR valve like the S4 does.

Really? Both JDM and USDM?

Okay, back to blaming the ACV

You'll pass a sniff test fine without an EGR, might fail a visual though.

Still chasing? What have you tried so far? IIRC last time you were digging into the ignition, did that turn up anything?

I have the popping at idle as well (most days) and would also like to get rid of it.

Henrick, closest i've gotten is reducing the misfire. Setting the tps about 100 times... setting the idle stop screw... Try with your A/C on. With the a/c on the issue dissapears entirely. Leading me to believe the extra air supplied by the BAC is no longer causing a rich condition.

SO... I'm down to leaking injectors (replacing soon, in fact, picking up my 720's after work)... and faulty ACV (I know that for sure... it makes a horrid noise intermittently)

No vacuum leaks though. You would not BELIEVE how much time i've spent looking for a vacuum leak!!!

Hmm, I don't have AC anymore but I can't see how the BAC should affect it as its all metered air. One thing that AC does do IIRC is alter the timing - I can't remember exactly how though, time to dig...
