Rust Inside My Rotors?

hey guys i cleaned up my rotors with carb cleaner and then washed them off with water and i used a air compresor to dry them up really good.

I left them inside my room for like 3 days and all of a sudden they have what seems to be rust in the inside of them their isn't signs of rust in the outside but the inside of the rotor ,like where those oil passages are and where the o ring holders are its all orange and stuff.... is there any way i can save them??? i just used a green pad to clean off all the tiny particles of rust by the pockets of the rotor and they came out very easily and i put some 10W 40 all around them and put them in a bag..

Im talking about the rotors that go inside the engine

if it's just surface rust then it should be ok.

after you get done cleaning iron parts you should always spray it down with wd40, it should also help remove the rust that has accumulated

you could soak them for a day or so, in some heavy duty cleaner or degreaser!

I have found a carb cleaner bath ( the stuff that actually comes in a bucket) to be helpful for many pitted and rusted metal parts, but you might want to get more input from the more experienced rotorphiles before doing something like that. I have also found "Right Stuff" to be a very good at eating rust too.
