The significant difference b/t series five and series four ECU's, is that the electrical plugs on the Front harness of the series four won't fit a seires five ECU and vice versa.

s5 needs to run the electric oil pump as to s4 with mechanical along with alot of other different wiring. Which flange on the turbo outlet or inlet of comp or turbine. Its not like t3 or t4, its got a different shape to it.

There is no turbo "size" per se, its a proprietary footprint.

About the turbo size its like a t3 but a corner is taken off it so it looks like a boot is as best as I can describe it.

Both the S4 & S5 flanges are different from one another & proprietary. Aftermarket turbos will require an aftermarket manifold w/ the appropriate flange.
