ecu for 88 turbo II

ecu for 88 turbo II

some dude told me that the N333 that came in my car was the wrong one for my 88 turbo 2. so i go and get a N318 which he says is the correct one. the only problem is that i want that rtek chip, and they say that its only for the N333 N327 or something like that. can anyone clarify? i am waiting form my engine harness so the car is not running yet.

N333 is the correct ECU for a USA spec 87.5 - 88 Turbo.

N318 is for Japanese Turbos

N327 would be for a USA spec 87.5-88 non turbo

That dude is wrong! For the 88 TII (S4 turbo) the N333 is the correct ECU and you can get the Rtek chip for that model.

I thought that the code for the early 87 turbo was 332. Is that wrong??

87-87.5 US Spec turbos used the N332

so for a 10th anniversary the right one would be...? what computer differences is there for te 318 and the us 333? is the N318 a better computer? plus i think a open wire on my old jacked up harness burned my N333, it smells kinda funky.
