ebc install write-up
Hey my GReddy Profec B just came in and I need a write-up on how to install it. Like I need step-by-step exactly how to do it. In other words, act like I don't know anything at all. If there is one somewhere please post a link or if you know exactly how to do it then if you could explain it in very simple terms in would be great. Thanks.

Just read the manual - boost controllers are really easy to install.

Ok I have looked at the instructions for installation and I'm not getting anywhere. Where is the fuel(pressure?) regulator?(they just call it fuel regulator) From the diagram I put a 3 way joint from there and run one hose to the back of the actual boost controller. Then I have 2 hoses to go to the boost controller motor. One to the wastegate(how/where do I connect this EXACTLY) and one goes to between the turbo and intake manifold(is this right?). Where do I connect this one exactly. Now if your getting the picture I am pretty clueless. So if anyone can point out the 3 places I need to make connections under the hood it would be great. Thanks for any help.

It's really not that hard.
Pretty much every Japanese instruction manual shows tapping into the FPR vacuum line for a manifold vacuum reference, simply because all FPR's are connected to a good manifold vacuum reference and it makes it easier to have one instruction manual for all cars.
That said, all that nipple needs to hook up to is any manifold vacuum reference. Easiest would be the line going to the boost sensor or BOV.
Take off your turbo inlet duct and look at where the turbo's outlet is. There will be a small metal pipe sticking out with a rubber hose attached. This hose kind of attaches to a metal pipe that runs around the turbo's inlet, and finally ends up at a round metal thing just below the turbo. That's the wastegate actuator. If you look at the back of the wastegate actuator, there's a rod going from it to the turbine housing of the turbo - it attaches to the wastegate flapper.
The "out" for the boost controller goes to the wastegate actuator, and the "in" goes to the line that was feeding it. You're basically breaking that vacuum line and teeing into it with the boost controller.

Heres what I have:
So I take it that in stock form there is a hose that runs from the wastegate to the front of the compressor housing. I remove this hose and run 2 separate hoses, one from each to the boost controller motor. Then I run a hose from the fuel pressure regulator to the controller. Run a power and ground and I'm done.
Sound good? Where would you splice into the FPR line and where would you use for power?
