There seems some fitment issues with the S4 turbos, like the flange and AN fitting don't fit under the turbo. I think my BNR Stg 1 is an S5 luckily but I want to see if anybody has been able to do it.

Should look roughly like this:
That's my original motor.

I've swapped out the 90 degree bend for a 45 degree turn which helped eliminate the extra fitting.
I was having some pooling issues at idle. The 45 helped keep the oil "going downhill"

I don't think I have any pics of the current version. It's covered in oil

Thanks for the update, few questions for you if you don't mind:

Did the pooling decrease or stop with the 45'?

Is that a stock S5 turbo or similar?

When you replaced the 90 w/ the 45 and eliminated the adapter did you use a 1/2" NPT to -10AN 45' Hose End or was the flange fit for -10AN?

Thanks man!

Okay I just bought some parts for this project:

(2) T3/T4 Oil Drain Flanges 1/2"NPT (w/gaskets and bolts)
(1) -10AN to 1/2" NPT 45' Hose End
(1) -10AN to 1/2" NPT Straight Hose End
(1) 3Ft -10AN Stainless Steel Hose

I'll follow up and let you know it how it goes.

The pooling was reduce.

That's a S5 turbo

I got a 1/2 npt to 10an 45 degree piece. Then I put on a normal 10an hose end on the hose and connected it.
I guess I didn't eliminate any pieces since I swapped them instead.

Let me know how it works out, I'm probably going to be picking up a similar setup this weekend.

Digi, that's great to hear, very helpful, thanks for the info.

Czar, I will certainly follow up, Summit is lightning fast with shipping but due to the holiday weekend I won't have the parts till Tuesday.

I had some trouble fitting the drain flange and 45' fitting, it doesn't clear between the exhaust housing outlet and the compressor cover. Turns out the stock line was leaking at the gasket below the turbo. I cleaned everything up and reinstalled the stock line with new gaskets and bolts. Also did the OMP block off kit.

Does that ebay kit fit a t4 flange turbo?

If not, can someone point me to one that does?

I need the turbo oil feed line too.
