Ebay Oil Cooler

Does anyone know if this oil cooler would be better than buying an OEM oil cooler?

Ebay oil cooler

Do you know a site where I can get a good oil cooler?

As others have said, it's a lot smaller then the stock cooler. If you take a look at the stocker, you will see that it is HUGE. Bigger then I've ever seen on any stock vehicle, and bigger then most aftermarket coolers. There are a few aftermarket coolers for the RX-7 if you need one (oil temps too high on the gauge?) but they are pricey starting at about $800 AUS.

Alright, thanks a lot... I just found a site with some aftermarket ones. They are cheap too. Yeah, that Ebay one was a lot smaller and seemed over-priced.

I think you've missed the point. Unless you're making a lot more power than stock, or this is a race car that sees constant full load, AND you've actually measured the oil temps and found them too high, you're wasting your time and money with an aftermarket oil cooler. Very few people have found they actually need to upgrade the stock one.

yup... the stocker is huge.... and if you still need more, just do what im having done very shortly..just run 2 fc oil coolers together! should be cheaper than any quality aftermarket oil cooler, and if done correctly, far superior than any on the market! 2 fc oil coolers should be more than enought on even a racecar!

single OEM is more than enough to keep a GXL well within normal cooling range.

even if you don't have any wreckers nearby that have any then check the for sale section. you don't need a blinging new oil cooler to make your motor happy you just need one that is the right size and that works...
