is it easy to change oilpan?
hi, i was wondering how difficult it is to replace a leaky oilpan, or just redo the seals on my 1988 GX. i have little to none experience with working on cars, but im not inept... i could prob figure it out... i was looking thru the haynes manual and it says i have to hoist the engine a bit to get at it... can anyone who has changed theirs tell me the process for it, and if its a simple few hour job? thanks!!

few hours dawg definatly.. i did it in like 30 minutes.. just get a ******* big *** ratchet adapter like 6 inches ( maybe that would be enough, just remmeber the more leverage the less force u will have to use. they are 10mm in size and they are about 12-18 of them im not sure but it should be a piece of cake.. remember get good jackstands and make sure the car is not moving around!!
