e-shaft pulley alignment and timing mark Q's?

If im not mistaken the pulley that drives the Alt. belt on the e-shaft can only be installed correctly one way, since the 4 holes for the 10mm bolts are not equally spaced apart, right?

reason im asking is because my dumbass removed the pulley w/o marking it so when it came time to install it i had no clue how it went back together. Also does anyone know which direction does the keyway faces, at TDC, when the 19mm bolt is removed from the e-shaft?

and last, my pulley has 3 marks for timing, when i want 0 degree timing i want it to align. to the first mark starting from the left, correct? my pulley has no pink mark, since i used brake clean to clean it ..

thanks guys!!

1. Only fits one way. Maybe take a mirror and turn the pulley until you get the four holes aligned????

2. My cars only have two marks. If you are looking aft, the pulley rotates clockwise. Its the first mark that comes around that is the LEAD mark, at 5 degrees after top dead center. Second mark, the trail mark, 15 degrees after top dead center.

3. Got no answer about the keyway.

4. Unless I've lost muh mind, if you have three marks.....I think it might be a aftermarket pulley...Or, somehow in my mind I never see the third mark and am just screwed up.

5. There is a site that tells how to identify top dead center. I don't have it bookmarked right now. Later I might post it.

6. Here is the url: http://www.teamfc3s.org/info/articles/demystifying.html look at the very, very bottom of the page, to find top dead center.

When the front rotor is pointing straight up and the front counter weight is straight down, the keyways line up directly on top.

The 2nd gen pulleys only go on one way due to the offset screw holes like you suspect. A 1st gens can go any direction!
