hi guys

i know, i know, every week 5topics about e-fans

but i've searched and didn't find out which size i can mount on the stock radiator / aftermarket koyo replacement maximum!

i wanna buy a SPAL fan...

this fans just look like that picture...



which max. diameter can i mount?

so i can mount the biggest SPAL available from my german ebay shop...

400mm (~16")... pushes 4000m³/h

don't know how to come from CFM to m³ !? :/

edit:

oh, wikipedia.org rules

1 CFM = 1,699m³/h

so this fan makes ~2355 CFM

enough i think!?

Step 1: Measure your radiator.

Step 2: Buy biggest fan that fits.

Not rocket science...

Personally I wouldn't trust any "rated" airflow for an aftermarket fan. There are many ways to measure it, most of which don't reflect what you'll actually get.

i trust in SPAL, it's a great brand (rally sport) here in europe

of course i will measure my rad, but i'm on work now and had nothing to do, so why ddon't use the time?

what do you think about a fan shroud?

i think it would be a good idea to do one out of CF... so that i soak air trough the complete radiator and only trough 2/3...
