e-fan in front of radiator?

I searched and couldn't find anything besides the regular e-fan threads. Has this been thought of and/or discussed before? I want to keep the stock fan but just add an e-fan inbetween my fmic and radiator to push some air through the radiator. Thanks for all comments.

Some TII's already have a stock E-fan in front of the rad. It's part of the A/C system I guess.

It works well for me. I use my EMS to have this small fan kick in at a certain temp. It only comes on at the track, really.

you can try but it'll only push about 60-80% as much air as it'll pull. it might not be good enough in the front.

What EMS do you have? I have a stock one for my AC as well, I was thinking of using a larger one or maybe a dual one(whichever fits best in there). Any idea on how much the stock e-fan pulls?

right now i have mine on a push configuration.

i have a fluidyne rad and a permacool fan. It doesn't quite cool enough...........left idle'n for about 10 min it get a little too high for me. I will be upgrading to a 16 inch and on a pull once i get my fmic on.

Pull will cool more b/c some of it will be deflected by the rad itself if it's pushed.

I am going to keep my stock one "pulling" the air through the radiator, but I want to add one to "push" air through the radiator as well.

I have a spal pusher fan mounted to the front of my AC condenser. It is wired with a PermaCool adjustable thermostat. It is hooked directly to the battery so it runs after shutdown, until the engine cools.

I running the WOLF 3D 3.1.

That's basically the stock system. The electric pusher fan (if fitted) runs when the A/C's on or if coolant temps reaches 205degF.

If you're having cooling problems you could replace the stock fan with a bigger one and just use the stock controls.

Are you actually having problems?

Not problems really, but I like to run pretty cool. I don't have an aftermarket temp. gauge yet, so I'm not too sure. But temps have been getting to 1/2 way up during the day. Really want them below 1/3.

If the system is working right that won't happen. The Thermostat will control the engine water temps.
