As long as they aren't fiberglass packed. Rotaries put out too mush heat for fiberglass and will burn them out. Look for one that is packed with stainless steel or the like.

I'm running these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...917635941&rd=1

RB header, 2.5" test pipe, custom 2.5" y-pipe to dual 2.5" piping and those mufflers, no problems, just extremely loud.

sounds like it would be, that's one free flowing setup you have.

has neone tried one of the many N1 knock offs? I can' t even find true N1's on ebay when searching for apexi N1.

im assuming that if i got 2 of the ebay ones it would be quiter than what i have now. am i right?

i have ALL the original cats to a crush bent 2.5" pipe that goes to a single muffler from who knows where and its shaped like an oval width wise and barely fits where it is. so if i got 2 cheap ebay ones and a custom y-pipe would it be quieter?

Maybe maybe not. All depends on your muffler and all, I mean the ebay ones are straight through and, mine at least, aren't muffling all that much

That oval mufler on your car right now is probably a baffled OEM job. Bad for performance, great for sound canceling.

Those ebay jobs are straight through, decent for performance and almost nill sound cancelling.

If you keep the 3 cats and go with two of those muflers, the exhaust may be bearable. If you remove the cats and go with those straight through muflers only, your ears will be hating you.

My ears are fine

But then again I'm crazy and used to loudness in my cars.

You know what, for the prices you pay, you might as well go quality stuff from Summit Racing.

If it's looks you're concerned with, then get whatever you want.

If you're worried about noise, get...
* Walker Dynomax UltraFLO
* Magnaflow
* Dynatech
* Borla

Get the "turbo" mufflers with *offset* inlets / outlets.
This will give you the best flow with the least amount of noise.

I got 2 of the $8.95 specials from E Bay. Problem is the shipping was $36.00 each. I went to Mienikee(sp) and spent another $149.00 for installing. I wish now I had opted for a catback which would have been only a little more. These things are loud but they qualify as mufflers so I can live with em.

Thats what I HATE about ebay. Every jackass selling on there rapes you on shipping.
