Dynomax for turbo 7

How does the dynomax sound? Air flow?(I know its a little more restrictive than most) Isn't it dual exhaust? How long should it last?

i got the dynomax on my n/t and its ok......its quiet enough so if you dont beat on it you wont get pulled over, and loud enough to turn heads wen you get abouve 4k.......for the price, id save a little more and buy the n1 or something of that nature

so all in all the dyno max muffs lol work goodbut i bet they do not last that long to tell u the truth
they are made to withstand the heat of an exhaust from a regular piston engine. if im not mistake the exhaust air from the rotary is much hotter!

Dynomax actually make exhausts for the rotary which aren't glass-packed. They work well and sound great. I bought mine in '96, and they still sound great! There was a recent post about the dynomax set-up, where someone ordered them and they came rusted. Dynomax replaced them free. If you do a search, you'll see the pics of them. Overall, for the price, I'd buy another set.

sheesh... that's some small piping! Did you feel a difference when you did the exhaust, or is it mostly a change of sound?

thanks for the info. I have someone that is thinking about selling me a used dynomax and just wanted to check up on it first. I do believe it is the rotary specific exhaust. I don't think I will be setting up my exhaust in a vertical fashion unless I have to.
