dyno tuned s-afc?

Just curious, wondering if anybody actually noticed a big difference between there s-afc when it was un-tuned and then dyno tuned? Just want to know wat i can expect

For almost stock, but then throwin on a SAFC for bigger power, not so much..
For 1600's all over with a T66, yes.
For reliability, it becomes instantly worth it no matter what thow.

150 rwhp on My Fiancee's GTUs.......intake, RB exhaust with N1 Duals(real Apex-i) pinneaple sleeves...I haven't installed the SAFC on my GTUs Turbo yet tho.....

i got street port, removed everything emission wise,
and intake filter, full RB exauhst
dynoed at 165rwhp
i hope to add a safc and tune another 15-20 hp out of it.
i am n/a (1986 gxl)

s-afcs i think can only control 720's correct? I still need to tune my and have 4x 720's.

no you can actually put up to 1100cc in I believe because you can tune any injector down 50% witch since 550cc is stock tunning down 1100cc to 50% is 550.

Well technically if you were using more fuel than stock 550s you could go bigger than 1100ccs right (in the secondaries at least)? It's just that you cant get back to stock levels. With 4 1600s though I dont know how you would start the engine, it would probably just flood since the SAFC cant adjust the fuel map during cranking.

heh, last post..hit the nail on the head!

anything over 720cc primaries will flood the engine during cranking. the SAFC may be able to tune much larger injectors but the ECU cranking map would basically dump liters of fuel during cranking because it is calibrated for 550cc injectors and the AFM readings are not taken into account while cranking.
