Not bad at all.......I hope my project n/a will put that out after some much needed mods. First I gotta get that sucker running.

Yo,

GTUsissified?! Why I oughta!! *grin*

Yeah, I was a little disappointed but the car is still quick. Not "fast" but quick. *grin* I still had lots of fun cruising with all the Sacramento Sevens last night, zooming around, trying to drift, yadda yadda.

I did some checking with other Dyno results, and it looks like I'm right where I should be. I think lots of people would be surprised when the rubber meets the rollers. Lots of BS would end when the rollers stop spinning. *grin*

Only one of the 3rd Gens there cracked the 300hp barrier to the rear wheels, which was somewhat surprising to me. You'd be surprised, go dyno!

No you are not, you are running at least 10 hp less. Check your VDI. My car with a cat runs better than you with a straight pipe. Dont make sense. Remember, NO VDI jump in the hp level

dude, I already have a set and have been running it for almost a year.
It just doesn't seem to produce that much more power, but it is a hellulva lot louder !!

Are you comparing the header combo with the stock manifold/cat/precat??

I can't beleive you coudln't notice a power difference.
You're right though- It sure is a hell of a lot louder though man!!

Yeah, I think you are doing just fine HP wise. There is a LOT of talk on here. Truth of the matter is that most people are guessing their #'s and then stating their guesses as facts. My buddy (Silver88GXL) did put down ~160rwhp, but he has put a TON of work into his car trying to get everything just perfect.

Good luck,

yes I am.

I remember the day I 1st put them on, that it revved a little quicker. I lost a little low end torque, but I feel a little more punch from 4k up.
Also I used to chrip the tires on 1-2 shift, but I cannot with the header/presilencer

I think I will put in the stock cats with exhaust manifold to see if the car stays the same or is slower.

Wait a sec- If headers are good for top end pull, then you should be chirping harder unless you shift below 4k rpm and not taking on the benefits of a header.

Max, do you have dyno result? or just butt dyno?

Butt dyno doesn't do anything. My friend's Kahren's car has a big dip at 6K RPM and then shoots up, yet from our ***. We only felt the dip, no gain in power. You really have to put it to the dyno to see the difference.

there are no tuners with a dyno close to me
when I removed the cats, they didn't look clogged at all, so I dunno if that is why I didn't notice much of a difference.

Most people have the cats all clogged up, maybe that is why it is easier to tell the power difference ?

or maybe it is a placaboo effect ? spending $300 and "feel" a gain

if I get the chance I'll put it on a dyno as you know it is the only real way to tell..
