dumb *** question
so i was looking at my car today and noticed the 350 lb weight limit written on the drivers door jam. Was the car origonally sprung for thismuch weight? or is the value of 350lbs based on something else?

Haha I noticed that too the other day. But isn't it 350lb, including a passenger and any cargo? It doesn't seem like much... I would guess that this number is how much the car was meant to support on stock suspension.

^^^ You can always count on honest advice from Ted!
The figure is for the maximum rated suspension load. It's not saying your car can't support more weight, but that it's suspension system was designed to have a maximum of 350 lbs passenger/cargo weight added. If you add more, the suspension will be out of it's design limits and will not work as well.

Point A to point B while having fun, it carries anything I toss in it, and mine's been holding up pretty reliably. Gotta love it as a DD.
