dual filters?

Is it very practical to run dual filters? My thinking is that the AFM would be too much of a restriction... Input?

You’ve answered your own question. The AFM is the big restriction, not the filter, so the difference would be negligible.

LOL, yeah, one big huge piece of metal in the middle of the airflow isn't enough - you need two!

How about a single standalone EMS?

It’s not quite as stupid as it sounds, as two AFM’s in parallel would have half the restriction. That’s why the Skyline GT-R does it! However our AFM’s would take up heaps of room, and it be a complete bitch to calibrate properly. A whole lotta effort for not much gain! Like Evil said, go stand-alone and ditch it all together.

Is there such thing as a FCD for the AFM? Or such a way to fool the computer so as to remove the AFM completely?

The only way to remove the AFM is to go stand-alone. The FCD only tricks the computer to think its boosting less than factory standards.
