lots of problems..oh my!

Man...ive been sick and tired of trying to deal w/ all the issues with my car, and its my Daily driver, so i cant leave it sitting around for days.

I took it down to rotary performance..and they checked it out...700 bux for this...

Front drivers caliper sticking..replaced.
adjusted Idle
replaced a couple of wheel studs
bent rear lower control arm link
worn rear bearings
flushed coolant
bled brakes
bled power steering
2 new front pads.

While the rear hubs are off, he said he'll press in the rear steer eliminator bushings for free, and i gave him the adj. rear camber bar to put on while the car is hanging. I supposedly put on my rear sway bar upside-down .

I know i could have done all the maintainence myself, but i just dont have the time lately. oh well...when i get her back..she'll feel like new

Most of those things could have been replaced in about 3-5 hours of your own time. Rear wheel bearings is prolly the toughest thing to do.

You may have been able to save your front caliper by taking it right off and using some of that moly grease to break the pistons free. Thats what I did on all my calipers so i would never have to replace them.

yeah, i was a little disappointed that he replaced my brake pads. I had fumbled with my idle for long enough, thats the main reason i took it in. I dont trust myself yet to mess with bleeding the brakes and replacing a caliper as ive never done it before. Id rather have poor acceleration than poor braking

Im changing my own oil tomorrow when i get it back...noone changes my oil but me and i didnt wanna mess with flushing the coolant..i already have about 5 gallons of used oil and coolant in my garage

Where do i take used oil and coolant. Im NOT paying someone to take it...thats stupid and pointless.

I have school and work lately..and my gf is in the hospital, and its hot as a MF outside, so im just taking the cheap (not really ) way out and getting someone else to fix her up for now.

I cant wait till i get a beater..being able to leave my car undrivable for days while i do modifications..mmm

If you have an Advance Auto or AutoZone nearby, they usually will take and recycle the oil. I don't have any ideas about the coolant though,
